Uh Oh.

I started this blog because I was afraid about the public humiliation I'd face if I didn't stick to my plan and I thought that fear would keep me going. I WAS SO WRONG. This is how I undid all my gym progress.

First I had dental surgery. I was in way too much pain to do anything apart from lying in bed and watching T.V. I couldn't eat anything that wasn't the consistency of baby food so I didn't have the energy to go to the gym and one side of my face doubled in size = not showing my face in public.

Medieval torture device?
Secondly, work. Crazy, evil, hectic, stressful work. I might be one of those weird people that likes my job, but it's been nuts, there's too much to do and only 24 hours in a day. This was the easiest excuse to use, I'm too busy to go to the gym, lies, I could have made some time. I'm a lazy lazy liar.

This is me taking the best nap of my life at work.
The other great excuses include "I lost track of time watching Utopia/Talking to my mom/staring at pretty houses and DIY projects I will never do on Pinterest/ My toe hurts"

Blah Blah Blah, I'm going to the gym tomorrow and I will try not to yell at the treadmill (too much).

Hello C25K, Goodbye Sugar?

After a week of chilling, PMSing, feeling sorry for myself and not wanting to wake up for work, I decided to hit the gym again. I started C25K (Couch to 5K) It involved 5 minutes of brisk walking, then 60 seconds of jogging & 90 seconds of walking  - which you have to repeat for 20 minutes - HORRIBLE HORRIBLE THING. Dear inventor of C25K, your program is great, I'm just really lazy.

This is my enemy right now.

If I could get in touch with the guy who photoshopped her legs, I would put up a picture of myself jogging.
The purpose of my blog is to talk about my attempt at getting fit, so I will tell you how the work out went. For the first 10 minutes I thought that it was freaking easy, everything went downhill after that thought and It felt like my ankles were going to crumble under the weight of my body. But the stretches after helped and the little exercise felt good.

My next post will be about my training with Raoul (Speed x Strength Training Systems) with pictures of me crying post work out. Fun.

Oh yea, I haven't eaten sugar for almost a month.

P.S. Raoul is the best trainer in the world.
